WEST END, NC - The Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) has announced the schedule for its annual series of USGA Rules of Golf Seminars. This year's series will be the 37th year the CGA has served the Carolinas with Rules of Golf education and annual rules presentations.

With the change to the GHIN Handicap System, CGA members must create new accounts to use the "MyCGA" online system. Old MyCGA usernames and passwords were not transferred into the GHIN system. There are two different MyCGA products available for members: eGolfer/eRevision and TPP Online Golfer. Each product serves a different purpose. eGolfer/eRevision is for handicapping & statistics while TPP Online Golfer is for CGA tournament and event registration. Pinehurst, NC – Megan Moore of Bahama, NC became the first repeat winner of the Carolinas Young Amateur Championship.  Moore, a junior at UNC-Pembroke, finished with a two day total of even par 144 on the Gene Hamm designed Magnolia course at Pinewild CC in Pinehurst, NC to win the women’s division.  Katherine Perry of Cary, NC, the 2012 Carolinas Young Amateur champion, finished in second place with a two day total of 147.  Nicole Keyser of Cary, NC finished in third place at 152.

Boys’ All-State Golf Team by the Tarheel Youth Golf Association and the Carolinas Golf Association honoring those junior golfers who have had the most success in amateur and junior golf events at the local, state, regional and national levels over the past 12 months.
