CAMDEN, SC (April 6, 2021) – Sectional qualifying results for the 41st Carolinas Mid-Amateur Championship hosted by Camden Country Club in Camden, SC on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 (6,455 Yards, Par 35-35—70, (72.2/139).

William Ovenden of Mt. Pleasant, SC earned medalist honors with a score of one-under-par 69. 16 qualifying spots and ties were available at this qualifying spot. The cut line fell at four-over-par 74 and 21 players advanced to the 41st Carolinas Mid-Amateur Championship, at Columbia Country Club in Blyt...

 

WALLACE, N.C. (April 6, 2021) - The 26th Tar Heel Cup Matches presented by Holderness & Bourne took place at River Landing Country Club’s River Course in Wallace, N.C. featuring the eight top amateurs and PGA professionals from North Carolina. For the professionals to take back the cup, they needed 6.5 points and the amateurs needed 6 points to retain the cup. After winning five out of the eight singles matches today, the professionals were able to take back the cup and capture their 15th Tar Heel Cup title.

CHINA GROVE, NC (March 31, 2021) – Sectional qualifying results for the 41st Carolinas Mid-Amateur Championship hosted by Warrior Golf Club in China Grove, NC on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 (6,550 Yards, Par 35-36—71.

This qualifying site was shortened to nine-holes.  Qualifying spots were determined by nine-hole scores. Shawn Foley from Charlotte, NC and Keith Early from Charlotte, NC earned medalist honors.

Ross Bell of Raleigh, N.C. earned medalist honors with a score of six-under-par, 66.
