SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (January 15, 2016) -- The Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) has confirmed the sites and dates for its 2016 championship and tournament schedules. The CGA is entering its 107th year of conducting state and regional championships for amateur golfers.

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (January 13, 2016) -- Registration is open for the 2016 Rules of Golf Seminars conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA). This year's series will be the 40th year the CGA has served the Carolinas with Rules of Golf education and annual rules presentations.

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (January 4, 2016) -- Four first-timers and two previous winners have been named 2015 Richard S. Tufts Players of the Year by the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA).  The award was created in 1997.

The six winners are: Scott Harvey of Greensboro, N.C. (Men), Lori Beth Adams of Burlington, NC (Women), Gary Robinson of Fayetteville, NC (Senior Men), Pat Brogden of Garner, NC (Senior Women), Christian Salzer of Sumter, SC (Junior Boys) and Ashley Czarnecki of Greenville, SC (Junior Girls).

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (December 30, 2015) -- The Carolinas Golf Association thanks the Buck Adams Charitable Endowment Fund for their $35,000 donation to Carolinas Golf House. The donation was given in memory of Buck Adams, a former head golf professional at the Country Club of North Carolina and mentor to many in the industry.

(December 30, 2015) -- Hometown favorites Sarah Bae and Joshua Martin won their respective divisions of the 7th Carolinas Young Amateur.  The tournament was shortened to 18-holes after the second round was canceled due to heavy rain which caused the golf course to flood and become unplayable.  Bae, a junior at NC State, scorched her first nine with a six under par 30 on the Magnolia course at Pinewild CC in Pinehurst, NC.  Bae continued her great play with a on...
