#1 ranked senior Paul Simson puts aim on claiming first super senior title

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (September 23, 2016) -- The Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) will conduct the 9^th North Carolina Super Senior Championship at Kinston Country Club on September 27-28. The championship is conducted at 36 holes of stroke play. This will be the fourth CGA championship held at the club. Most recently, the 2014 N.C. Senior was held on its Ellis Maples designed course.

This is the fourth CGA championship hosted by the club. Designed by Willard Byrd, the course takes players to the Atlantic Ocean where the swirling breezes provide a challenging test of ability.

(September 16, 2016) -- The Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) will conduct the 23^rd North Carolina Mid-Amateur Championship at Starmount Forest Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. from September 23-25. The championship is conducted at 54 holes of stroke play. After 36 holes, there will be a cut to the low 60 scores and ties.
