GREENVILLE, S.C. (October 21, 2017) – Two talented teams produced a dramatic final day as the 24-golfer Virginias team notched a four-point victory (26-22) at the 72nd Captain’s Putter Matches hosted by Greenville Country Club's Chanticleer Course. The Virginias team reclaimed the Captain’s Putter Trophy awarded to the champions and ended the Carolinas' two-year win streak.

Due to the forecast of heavy rains in the Linville area on Monday and chance of up to 2 inches of rain, the Foundation Four-Ball Tournament at Grandfather Golf & Country Club on Monday, October 23 has been cancelled.    

All teams in the field will receive a full refund of their entry fee.  Any makeup date annoucements will be made in the future.

These three-month experiences involve exposure to all aspects of golf administration including but not limited to: championships, qualifiers and one-day tournaments; handicap and course rating department; communications; membership and general office administration.

(October 10, 2017) -- The 22nd North Carolina Four-Ball Championship will be played at TPC Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh from Friday, October 13th to Sunday, October 15th.  The championship format is 54 holes of four-ball stroke play. After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the low 30 teams and ties for the final round.
