Update on the CGA license plate program.

The NC legislature is back in session and Senator Harry Brown will reintroduce our application for a Carolinas Golf Association specialty license plate.

The CGA plate will be part of a larger bill and we hope to have it approved by the end of June.  We do not know at this time which bill it will be attached to, but will pass that along when we hear something.

LENOIR, NC – Sectional qualifying results of the 54^th North Carolina Amateur Championship hosted by Cedar Rock Golf & Country Club in Lenoir, NC on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 (6677 yards, Par 36-36—72, 73.0/133).

The cut line fell at even-par 72. 16 players advanced to the 54^th North Carolina Amateur Championship that will be played June 5-8 at Carolina Golf Club in Charlotte, NC.

This championship is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association which is in its 105th year of serving amateur golf in the Carolinas.
