It's with a very heavy heart that we say "goodbye" to Carolinas Golf Association friend, supporter and champion, Larry Beck. Among Beck's many accomplishments as an amateur golfer include winning the 1957 U.S. Junior Amateur and the CGA's flagship event, the 1960 Carolinas Amateur Championship. Beck also won the Carolinas Junior Boys' Championship in '55, '56 and '57.

Well it looks like the weather is going to get us again.

Due to the forecast of 80% chance of thunderstorms on Saturday and more rain forecasted for Sunday, the Carolinas Golf Association and Jacksonville CC have made the decision to postpone the Jimmy Anderson Boys’ Invitational to Saturday and Sunday, August 17-18, 2019.

We understand that not everyone will be able to play in August, and we are sorry we had to move the tournament.

UPDATE (11:30 a.m., June 7, 2019) : After careful consideration, the 11th Carolinas Super Senior Championship has been postponed to a future date. The CGA staff has monitored the weather and course conditions and determined with the forecast of potential storms that the Championship should be held at a later date.
