WEST END, N.C. – G. Jackson Hughes, Jr. of Greenville, SC was elected 54th president of the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) at the association’s annual meeting held on February 1st in Pinehurst, NC.

West End, NC – The Carolinas Golf Association announced the winners of the 2013 CGAcer Hole in One Club Contest held on January 31, 2014.  CGA members who made a hole in one in 2013 and submitted an application were eligible.  Prizes for the 2013 annual drawing for holes-in-one winners are:

West End, NC – The Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) has announced revised ranking systems that will be implemented beginning on February 1 for Men, Women, Senior Men and Senior Women in the Carolinas.

For Men and Senior Men, the revised system combines the Carolinas rankings system with the Carolinas Team point standings. Additional events have been added to the rankings calendar along with a revision of event multipliers and bonus points.

PINEHURST, NC – Final round results of the Carolinas One-Day Four-Ball One-Day Tournament of Champions of the Carolinas Golf Association hosted Pinehurst Resort & Country Club Course No. 1 in Pinehurst, NC on Sunday, January 12, 2014.

     The Jacksonville Country Club Board of Directors has announced the 6th Jimmy Anderson Junior Boys’ Invitational will be played on April 5-6, 2014.
