WALLACE, N.C. (May 1, 2019) -- Final results from 2019 U.S. Open Local Qualifying at River Landing (River Course) in Wallace, N.C. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 (6950 yards, par 36-36--72, Course/Slope rating: 74.0/132).
Patrick Cover from Cornelius, N.C. fired a course record 11-under-par 61 to claim medalist honors at the U.S. Open Local Qualifier at River Landing in Wallace, N.C. Morgan Deneem from Conway, S.C. and Harrison Rhoades from Raleigh, N.C. earned the next two qualifying spots with scores of three-under par 69. Also advancing was Wes Artac Leander, TX, he turned in a score of two-under par 70 to qualify.
Benjamin Shipp from Duluth, GA is the first alternate. Daniel Chopra of Orlando, FL is the second alternate.

Four qualifying spots and two alternate positions were available at this qualifying site.
All local qualifiers will play in one of twelve Sectional Qualifying Sties on Monday, June 3, 2019 to attempt to qualify for the 2019 United States Open Championship that will be played June 13-16, 2019 at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California.
This qualifier was conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association on behalf of the United States Golf Association.
