US Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying - Oldfield
OKATIE, S.C. (December 12, 2022) -- Final results from U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying at Oldfield Golf Club in Okatie, S.C. on Monday, December 12, 2022 (7,142 yards, par 72).
Two qualifying sides and two alternate sides were available at this qualifying site.
Stephen Seiden of Newtown Square, PA and Ryan Clancy of Bluffton, S.C. won medalist honors with a round of eight-under-par 64. Jack Larkin Sr of Atlanta, GA and Hayes Brown of Charlotte, N.C. claimed the other qualifying spot with a round of seven-under-par 65. Five sides finished at five-under-par 67 so a playoff was needed to determine the first and second alternates. Austin Morgan and Troy Miller of Charleston, S.C. outlasted the other sides to claim the first alternate position. Bradley Kauffman of Greenville, S.C. and Nick Eberhardt of Charlotte, N.C. claimed the second and final alternate position.
The qualifiers will advance to the 8th U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship at Kiawah Island Club’s Cassique and River courses in Kiawah Island, S.C. from May 20-24, 2023.
