Pike and Dirk Share Lead at Carolinas Super Senior
Defending champion Arlis Pike of Kernersville, NC and Alan Dirk of Sanford, NC each carded a round of five-under par 67 to share the first round lead. Pike had a bogey free round that included five birdies while Dirk had six birdies versus one bogey.
Final round of the 36-hole event is set for a 9:00am shotgun start at High Meadows Golf & Country Club on Tuesday. Round two groupings are listed at the bottom.
Carolinas Super Senior Championship is open to any male amateur golfer who has reached his 65th birthday, is a legal resident of North Carolina or South Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) and has a current USGA Handicap Index® at a CGA member club that does not exceed 15.4.
