WILMINGTON, NC – Sectional qualifying results of the 2014 North Carolina Mid-Amateur Championship hosted by Pine Valley Country Club in Wilmington, NC on Monday, August 25, 2014 (6418 yards, Par 36-36—72, 71.8/131).
Brooks Curtis from Elizabeth City, NC shot a one-under par 71 to earn medalist honors. The cut line fell at four-over par 76. 7 players advanced to the 21st North Carolina Mid-Amateur Championship that will be played September 19-21 at Old Chatham in Durham, NC.
This championship is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association which is in its 105th year of serving amateur golf in the Carolinas.
