Carolinas Team Captures 57th Carolinas-Virginias Women's Team Matches for Fourth Straight Year

Roanoke , WV Final results of the 57th Carolinas-Virginia's Women's Team Matches hosted by Stonewall Resort on Wednesday, July 17, 2013.  

The Carolinas team was able to hold off their Virginia’s counterparts by four points to retain the trophy for the fourth straight year.

The team was comprised of 24 players from North and South Carolina and played against their Virginia-West Virginia's counterparts.

Each match was worth three points in a nassau style format.

Carolinas – 18 points

Virginias – 18 points

 

Final results:

Carolinas – 56 points

Virginias – 52 points

This annual team match competition was conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association in conjunction with the Virginia and West Virginia State Golf Association.
