Carolinas Four-Ball Championship Rounds of 32 and 16 Match Play Results
CAMDEN, SC – Round of 32 and Round of 16 match play results of the 63rd Four-Ball Championship of the Carolinas Golf Association hosted by Camden Country Club in Camden, SC on Friday, May 9, 2014 (6455 yards, par 35-35—70, 71.6/128).
Defending champions, Paul Tucker of Waxhaw, NC and Brent Roof of Columbia, SC are seeking to repeat as champions by advancing past Eddie Hargett-White Suber by a 3 and 2 score in the morning round of 32 and then squeaked by Thomas Addison III-Bret Boulware by a 1 up score in the round of 16.
Stroke play qualifying medalists Jarrett Grimes and Chris Mitchell cruised into the quarterfinals with a 4 and 3 win over Matthew McIntyre-Mac McClure in the round of 32 and a 6 and 4 victory over Matthew Hopper-Richard Oref in the round of 16.
Quarterfinal matches begin at 8:00am on Saturday morning at Camden Country Club.
