Harris and Barringer's 66 Captures Carolinas Pro-Junior Title
Greensboro, NC--PGA professional Jason Harris of Durham, NC and his junior partner McKenzie Barringer of Durham, NC shot a round of six under par 66 to capture the 8th Carolinas Pro-Junior title. Harris and Barringer blitzed the Donald Steel designed Farm course of Greensboro CC in Greensboro, NC with seven birdies and one lone bogey on the 209 yard par three. “I hit some really good shots and McKenzie made all the putts” commented Harris, the Director of Golf at Treyburn CC. This was the fourth time Harris and Barringer have teamed up to play in this annual Carolinas event.
Each team played a modified alternate shot format. This annual event is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association.
