END, NC (5/14/13) - Entries for the 87th Carolinas Women's Amateur
Championship close on Tuesday, May 14 at 11:59pm. The championship
will be hosted by Treyburn Country Club in Durham, NC from May (20) 21-23. Entry
fee is $175.00 which includes cart and range fees, food and gifts.
The
championship is conducted at 54 holes of stroke play (no cut). All players
regardless of handicap index have the option to play the "Championship Division"
(approximately 5900 yards) or the "Carolinas Division" (approximately 5150 yards).
Overall Champion and Senior Champion (age 50+) will be determined from contestants playing in the Championship Division. Super Senior Champion (age 65+) will be determined from contestants playing in the Carolinas Division. Field is divided into flights within divisions according to score after 36 holes.
Entry is open to any female amateur golfer
who has reached her 13th birthday by May 21, 2013, is a legal resident of North
Carolina or South Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a
member of the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) and has a current USGA Handicap
Index® at a CGA
