US Open Local Qualifying Results - Secession

BEAUFORT, S.C. (May 8, 2023) -- Final results from U.S. Open Qualifying at Secession Golf Club in Beaufort, S.C. on Monday, May 8, 2023 (6,894 yards, par 72).
 
Five qualifying spots and two alternate spots were available at this qualifying site. 
 
Jacob Solomon of Auburn, AL won medalist honors with a round of five-under-par 67. The four other qualifying spots were claimed by Will Morlan of Alpharetta, GA, who shot a four-under-par 68 and Davis Woodliff of Tulsa, OK, Austin Morgan of Charleston, S.C. and Luke Block of Bluffton, S.C. who finished at two-under-par 70. The players who finished at one-under-par 71 went to a playoff to determine the alternate positions. Tyler Smith of Opelika, AL won the first alternate position and Chandler Mulkey of Johns Island, S.C. will be the second alternate.
 
The qualifiers will advance to U.S. Open Final Qualifying on Monday, June 5.
