NC Senior Qualifying Results Cowans Ford
STANLEY, N.C. (April 26, 2017) -- Qualifying results of the Carolinas Golf Association's 32nd North Carolina Senior Amateur Championship Sectional Qualifying at Cowan’s Ford Golf Club in Stanley, N.C. on Wednesday, April 26th (6,234 yards, Par 36-36--72, Course/Slope Rating: 69.4/125).
Rick Kline of Davidson, NC and Jerry Horton of Wilmington, NC shot two-under-par, 70, to share medalist honors.
On National Golf Day, we had two hole in ones on number 7. Omar Hadi of Concord, NC and Michael McDowell of Charlotte, NC both had Hole-in-Ones. For Hadi this was his first, meanwhile, for McDowell it was his first in 13 years and his fourth total.
The cut line fell at 78 as 25 players advanced to the 32nd North Carolina Senior Amateur Championship that will be played May 16-18, 2017 at Country Club of Salisbury in Salisbury, NC.
