2010 CGA Senior Four-Ball One-Day Tournament Schedule
CGA Announces New Course Handicap Reduction Policy for Multiple Four-Ball Tournament Net Winners
West End, NC (4/2/10) - The CGA instituted a policy this year that can alter the course handicap of a competitor or team which wins first place in net divisions three or more times in a calendar year. New policy is: "Individuals or teams who win first place net in three or more events in a calendar season will have reduced course handicaps through the remainder of the calendar year. This rule is in effect for CGA One-Day Four-Ball tournaments, CGA Senior Four-Ball One-Day tournaments or in a combination of these tournament programs. Competitors who qualify for this reduction will have an additional 10 percent course handicap reduction for the remainder of the tournament season, including any Tournament of Champion events. If a player wins in three or more events with different partners, only the multi-event winner will incur the reduction."
