Championship Regulations
The Championship will be conducted over 54 holes of stroke play on May 15 -17, 2012 with an optional practice on May 14th.
Flights within divisions will be determined by scores after 36 holes.
There will be two sets of tees for the 2012 WCGA Championship. All players, regardless of index may opt to play from either
the Championship or the Carolinas Tees.
The WCGA Champion and Senior Champion will be determined from contestants playing the Championship Tees. The WCGA
Carolinas Champion and Super Senior Champion will be determined from contestants playing the Carolinas Tees.
The WCGA Champion, Championship runner-up, and Senior Champion automatically qualify for the 2012 Carolinas/Virginias
Women’s Team Matches. All of these winners will have played the championship tees.
Entries close April 30, 2012.

The Championship is open to any female** amateur golfer whose primary residence is North or South Carolina based on her
federal tax return and has a verifiable USGA Handicap Index. If you are a transgendered individual, follow the link below for the
WCGA policy and additional application procedures.
Entrants must be a member of a 2012 WCGA member club or join the WCGA as an individual. Click HERE for the current list of
member clubs.
The field of 96 players shall be comprised of eligible WCGA board members and the players with the lowest handicap indexes
whose entry fee and if necessary, individual membership fee have been paid before the closing of entries.
Alternates
If the championship is over-subscribed, the highest handicappers are placed on the alternates list ranked by handicap. Should
there be a cancellation, the next alternate will be contacted using the telephone numbers provided at the time of registration.
The alternate will be give 1 hour to respond. If we do not hear from the alternate, we will move on to the next on the list

The entry fee of $100 is not refundable after the closing date of April 30, 2012 at 5:00PM. Member club and individual dues
are not refundable.
