The 53rd Annual Carolina's/ Virginia's Team Matches were held at "The Raven of
Snowshoe" in Snowshoe, WV July 20-22. The Virginians were strong on their home turf and
managed to retain the title for another year. Congratulations go out to Mary Ray Hill and
Cynthia Curry who dominated the "Super Senior" division by winning 8 out of a possible 9
points. The Carolina Team was solid in the two daily senior matches as well earning nine
and a half points to the Virginians eight and a half points.
The Carolina's will host the Team Matches in 2010. River Run Country Club in Davidson, NC
will be the site. The dates are July 19-21, 2010.
