Final Results

Pawleys Island, SC-Playing in perfect conditions, Raleigh CC, represented by Brian Kittler and Bill Smith, put on a back nine charge to win the 34^th Carolinas Pro-Amateur Club Championship at the Reserve GC in Pawleys Island, SC. Kittler and Smith, got off to an average start playing the first seven holes even par, but got things going by making birdie on the demanding 8^th hole to make the turn at one under par 35. On the back side, Kittler, the head golf professional at Raleigh CC, got the back side going making birdie on number ten. Smith, a financial advisor, then made three birdies of his own on number 13, 14 and finished off the round with a birdie four on the 18 to finish with back side of four under par 32 and a round of five under par 67, good enough for a one shot lead.

Finishing tied for second place at 68 were Forsyth CC, represented by professional John Faidley and amateur Uly Grisette, and Carolina GC, represented by professional Jeffrey Peck and amateur Stephen Woodard.

This annual team championship is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association.
