Final Results

Southern Pines, NC: Gary Robinson of Fayetteville and his daughter Elizabeth avenged a 2007 playoff loss to four time Parent/Child champions Gary and Katie Garahan of Rock Hill, SC by firing a tournament record tying 67. Their seven birdie three bogey effort put them three ahead of the Garahans as well as Tommy and Rachel Jones of Asheboro.

Gary Robinson, a construction company owner and winner of the 2007 NC Mid Amateur and Elizabeth, who works as an investment broker, said the Garahans kept the pressure on with three early birdies of their own beginning the back nine.
