Greensboro, NC—Pete Seagroves knew his partner, golf professional Rick Brannon, and he had a good round, but did not think their round was good enough to win; but it was. Seagroves and Brannon, representing Chapel Hill CC of Chapel Hill, NC, won the 33^rd Carolinas Pro-Amateur Club Championship with a round of eight under par 64. Their round consisted of nine birdies and a lone bogey on the 7,021 yard par 72 course at Forest Oaks CC in Greensboro, NC.

Finishing one shot back at seven under par 65 was Ballantyne CC of Charlotte, represented by Michael Nowak and golf professional Matthew Saggio. Tying for third place at six under par 66 were Pinewild CC of Pinehurst, NC, represented by Joshua Martin and golf professional Gus Ulrich, Quail Hollow Club of Charlotte NC, represented by David Strawn and golf professional Charles Frost and Bradford Creek GC of Greenville, NC, represented by Rob Cato and golf professional Mike Cato.
