2012 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship Sectional Qualifying Legacy Golf Links, Aberdeen, NC August 27, 2012 Final Results

Aberdeen, NC ---- Final results of the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship Sectional Qualifier at Legacy Golf Links on Monday, August 27, 2012.  Par 36-36--72  6093 yards. 

Angela Stewart of Greenville, NC and Lea Venable of Simpsonville, SC earned co-medalist honors by shooting 2-over par 74.  Brenda Corrie Kuehn of Asheville, NC and Kim Briele of New Bern, NC also qualified with a four-over par 76. 

First alternate was Jennifer Hjalmquist of Cary, NC.  Julie Streng of Greensboro, NC won on the first playoff hole to take the second alternate position.

All four qualifiers advance in to the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship which will be held on October 6-11, 2012 at Briggs Ranch Golf Club in San Antonio, TX.
